The 10% Federal Tax Credit, known as the "Qualified Plug-in Electric Drive Motor Vehicle Credit" may be claimed using Form 8936, available from the IRS website. The 30% Charging Equipment Credit, known as the "Alternative Fuel Vehicle Refueling Property Credit" may be claimed using Form 8911, available from the IRS website.
