This past weekend I flew out to Orlando for the North American Launch of the
2015 Zero Motorcycles at
AIM Expo and it was great to see the new and improved Zeros in person.
Zero had an impressive booth and a strong presence at the event. The AMA even had a Zero on display in their "Motorcycling: 120 Years of Revolutions" exhibit, recognizing the significant role that electric motorcycles will play in the future of the industry.

Aesthetically, the new Zero bikes are very similar to the previous year's model, with the exception of the new wheel design. However, the ride quality should be significantly improved with the
Bosch ABS system and
Showa suspension.
On Friday evening, I had the privilege of accompanying the Zero Motorcycles team to the
AMA Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony where Zero's VP of Marketing and AMA Hall of Famer, Scot Harden, was honored with the Bessie Stringfield Award in recognition of his and Zero's efforts to introduce motorcycling to new or underserved markets.

The new inductees into the AMA Hall of Fame included Pierre Karsmakers, Tom White of White Brothers,
Barber Motorsports Museum's George Barber, Scott Summers, Mike LaRocco, Rob Muzzy, and Byron Hines of
Vance & Hines. It was already incredible to be sharing the room with these motorcycle heroes, but following the induction ceremony they honored Willie G. Davidson, the man responsible for Harley-Davidson's iconic look, as a Hall of Fame Legend.

Overall, it was a great weekend. Big thanks to Zero Motorcycles for including me. I look forward to next year!
